Making Technology Simple for Every Learner
Asela Bandara is an ICT teacher and technology educator in Sri Lanka, helping students understand technology through clear, practical, and supportive lessons. With a focus on Grade 6–11 ICT, each class is designed to make challenging ideas easier to follow, whether students are beginners or already comfortable with computers.
The teaching philosophy is straightforward: simple explanations, easy-to-understand examples, and steady progress. Instead of memorising difficult terms, students learn how technology works and how to apply their knowledge with confidence. Lessons can include computer fundamentals, information and communication technology concepts, programming basics, data representation, internet safety, and problem-solving skills.
Support for Grade 6–11 ICT
Students receive guidance that matches their age, school syllabus, and learning pace. Topics are introduced step by step, with opportunities to ask questions, practise skills, and review important concepts. This approach helps learners build a strong foundation while preparing for school assessments and future studies in technology.
Mathematics Support When Students Need It
In addition to ICT, mathematics classes are available as a secondary subject. Clear explanations and guided practice can help students strengthen essential skills, improve accuracy, and approach mathematical problems more calmly. ICT and mathematics often support one another by developing logical thinking, patterns, and structured problem-solving.
Flexible Online and Physical Classes
Students can learn through online classes or attend physical lessons, depending on their location, schedule, and preferred learning style. Both formats aim to provide focused instruction, useful feedback, and a comfortable environment for asking questions.
With patient guidance and purposeful practice, students can develop more than subject knowledge. They can become confident learners who are ready to explore technology, solve problems, and take on new academic challenges.
